We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the production team in our Victoria Plant. You will work with and take direction from a supervisor, and you’ll be reporting to our Production Manager.
Primary duties include:
- following instructions from experienced employees and supervisors
- feeding raw materials into production machinery
- assemble of goods on the production line
- loading and unloading items from machines and assembly lines
- monitor the process and carry out basic quality and testing checks as directed
- store goods and materials properly in our warehouse
- use lifting equipment
- preparing goods for shipping
- maintaining work areas and equipment
- measuring and confirming sizes
- interaction with team members and our internal customers
- following all safety and Covid protocols in place
- other duties as assigned from time to time
- some heavy lifting is involved
Qualifications:
- punctual and reliable
- positive attitude and work ethic
- ready, willing and able to learn
- ability to use and read a tape measure
- experience with hand tools and power tools an asset but not necessary
- willingness to take instruction, constructive feedback and to follow standard operating procedures
- desire to work cooperatively in a collaborative team environment and open communication
Other things you’ll want to know:
- these are full time positions and we will train the right individuals. It is essential that you be consistently punctual and reliable and that you readily take direction
- work days normally run Monday to Friday, noting overtime and weekend work is sometimes necessary
